The initial stage of this exciting project was successfully negotiated with a new client, Statefield Pty Ltd.

Platinum Projects provided Project Managing and Cost Planning services during the development process prior to carrying out the construction works involved in a $2m interior refurbishment of the existing Surfers Paradise Transit Centre.

The refurbishment entailed a transformation of the building into a Grand Market occupied primarily by restaurants, coffee roasters & cafe, delicatessen and numerous other food related tenancies. The existing Transit Kiosks whilst relocated will still form an integral part of the overall development.

Stage 2 of the project will involve a complete transformation of the existing external facade with an exciting new motorised louvre system developed in the USA.

The Stage 1 works were completed in July 2013 with Stage 2 works planned for mid-late 2014.
